  1. My momma always said, “That’s why you pray over your food.” I mean what is a person to eat? This is one way to reduce the obesity rate because there is little left to eat. When you take away eggs, peanut butter, cereal and chocolate we are in big trouble.
Bev, here is a CDC, Centers for Disease site for more info as well as one from the USDA

    http://www.cdc.gov/salmonella/enteritidis/

    http://www.fsis.usda.gov/Fsis_Recalls/index.asp
The USDA site also contains a widget you can put in the sidebar of any blog so bloggers can provide more info.

Thanks so much for keeping us all informed!

  2. Perhaps this is the push many of us need to eat more of our locally grown food. It will help our farmers and local economy. Choices will be more restrictive but replacing even a portion of our daily diet with food that is only grown locally, might be better for us. All this shipping of food over thousands of miles is going to have repercussions.
